Principal

Mrs. Jackie Massengill took leadership of Midway Elementary School in 2023 after serving as Assistant Principal the previous year and teaching at Midway for the 14 years prior.  She began working in the Claiborne County School District in 2003.  She began her career in education as a substitute teacher and teaching assistant before becoming a certified teacher in 2008.  Mrs. Jackie is a long-time resident of the Midway community, takes a lot of pride in our school, its students, and its faculty and staff, and strives to make Midway Elementary an academic leader in Claiborne County.

Mrs. Teresa Drummonds took the role of Assistant Principal in 2025. She began her career at Midway in 2003 and has been a valuable part of our Midway family ever since. Mrs. Teresa served as a kindergarten teacher before moving into administration.
