Principal

Mrs. Jackie Massengill took leadership of Midway Elementary School in 2023 after serving as Assistant Principal the previous year and teaching at Midway for the 14 years prior.  She began working in the Claiborne County School District in 2003.  She began her career in education as a substitute teacher and teaching assistant before becoming a certified teacher in 2008.  Mrs. Jackie is a long-time resident of the Midway community, takes a lot of pride in our school, its students, and its faculty and staff, and strives to make Midway Elementary an academic leader in Claiborne County.

Ms. Amy Munsey came to Midway Elementary School as Assistant Principal in 2023.  Before joining the Midway family, Ms. Amy taught at Claiborne High School,  where she was a valued teacher since 2008.
